Real estate trading in Jordan grew by 2% during the first nine months of this year compared to the same period last year, reaching JD 5.1 billion, according to the monthly report of the Department of Lands and Survey.

The report, monitored by Al-Mamlaka, showed that real estate trading in September declined by 3% compared to the same month last year, and by 10% compared to August 2025, standing at JD 618.5 million.
Sector revenues rose by 3% during the first nine months of this year compared to the same period of 2024, reaching nearly JD 200 million. However, September revenues decreased by 2% year-on-year and by 1% compared to August, totaling JD 25 million.
Property sales activity rose by 1% during the first nine months of 2025, with apartment sales increasing by 2% and land sales by 1% compared to the same period of 2024.
In September, property sales grew by 4% year-on-year but dropped by 8% compared to August. Apartment sales rose by 3% compared to September 2024 but declined by 8% month-on-month, while land sales increased by 5% compared to last year but decreased by 8% from the previous month.
The total number of properties sold to companies during the first nine months of this year reached 8,609.
The report also highlighted a 13% decline in non-Jordanian ownership transactions during the first nine months of 2025. Apartment sales by non-Jordanians dropped by 11%, while land sales decreased by 16% compared to the same period in 2024.
In September alone, non-Jordanian ownership transactions fell by 10% year-on-year but increased by 14% month-on-month. Apartment sales to non-Jordanians dropped by 5% compared to September 2024 but rose by 28% compared to August, while land sales fell by 18% compared to last year and by 6% month-on-month.
The appraised value of non-Jordanian ownership transactions declined by 8% during the first nine months of this year compared to the same period of 2024, amounting to JD 143.8 million. In September, the appraised value dropped by 3% year-on-year but rose by 26% compared to August, reaching JD 20 million.
