The data, reported by Al-Mamlaka, indicate that the value of the country’s gold reserves also reached a historic high, exceeding $9 billion by the end of September 2025.

The Central Bank’s gold holdings amounted to approximately 2.353 million ounces at the end of September.

The data further show that Jordan’s foreign reserves are sufficient to cover the country’s imports of goods and services for 9.1 months—a coverage rate reached by Jordan for the first time.
