During his meeting on Thursday with the Board of Directors of the European Chamber of Commerce in Jordan (EuroCham), the Minister highlighted that the Kingdom’s exports to EU countries surged by 72.3% during the first two months of the current year. Exports reached 112 million JOD, compared to 65 million JOD during the corresponding period in 2025. He stated that this growth reflects the improved competitiveness of Jordanian products, their ability to penetrate global markets, and the successful utilization of signed trade agreements.

Al-Qudah remarked that economic relations between Jordan and European nations are witnessing continuous development. He added that this momentum requires building upon existing agreements and partnerships to unlock further opportunities for Jordanian products in European markets.

Furthermore, Al-Qudah stressed the necessity of intensifying promotional and marketing efforts for Jordanian products across Europe. He also called for strengthening cooperation with the private sector and European chambers of commerce to boost trade volumes and attract more qualitative investments to the Kingdom.

He added that the Economic Modernization Vision focuses on developing productive sectors and raising the competitiveness of the national economy. This is being driven alongside the execution of major strategic projects—such as the National Conveyor Project, the railway network, Amra City, connecting industrial clusters to natural gas, and various transport initiatives—which aim to improve the business environment, reduce production costs, and enhance investment attractiveness in the Kingdom.

For his part, the Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Jordan, Mohammad Al-Smadi, affirmed the Chamber’s keenness to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with the European Union and expand partnerships to serve the national economy and support Jordanian exports.

Al-Smadi indicated that the Chamber is working to build effective partnerships between the Jordanian business community and its counterparts in European countries. This is being achieved through organizing economic forums, trade missions, and promoting available investment opportunities in the Kingdom, thereby attracting new investments and opening additional markets for national products.

He also underscored the significance of the upcoming Jordan-Europe Investment Conference, scheduled to be held before the end of this year, which will explore new investment prospects and reinforce the economic partnership between both sides.
