Trump Threatens Afghanistan Over Bagram Air Base

U.S. President Donald Trump said that if Afghanistan does not return Bagram Air Base to U.S. control, “bad things” will happen.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “If Afghanistan does not return Bagram Air Base to the one who built it—the United States—bad things will happen.”اضافة اعلان

On Thursday, Trump announced that the United States is seeking to regain control of Bagram, stating during a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer: “We are trying to get it back,” referring to the base whose location near China he described as strategic.

This is not the first time Trump has hinted at his desire to reclaim Bagram; he did so several months ago, and the Taliban had previously rejected the request.
