The board of directors of WB approved Saturday the Performance and Learning Review (PLR), which summarizes the progress of the World Bank Group’s Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for Jordan for the fiscal years 2017-2022, and adds a new pillar focused on COVID-19 response and green, resilient and inclusive recovery, according to the bank.

The PLR also extends the CPF period by an additional year (through fiscal year 2023).

The project known as the Red-Dead was supposed to be implemented during the early stages of the CPF, however, it was scrapped due to “the government failing to reach consensus on the project’s features,” according to the WB.
