GAZA – On Wednesday Reuters reported that the US is holding serious discussions on a humanitarian truce and the release of hostages. In its report, it mentioned that the White House has also mentioned the strong possibility of allowing humanitarian aid to enter Gaza from Jordan. اضافة اعلان

Following the announcement, the World Food Program (WFP) announced the successful entry of a humanitarian aid convoy into Gaza directly from Jordan, marking the first such convoy since October 7. The convoy, comprising 46 trucks organized by the WFP and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), transported over 750 tonnes of essential food supplies to Gaza, Jo24 reported.

In a statement, WFP emphasized, "This marks the first instance of a direct aid convoy arriving from Jordan to the Gaza Strip since the commencement of hostilities on October 7." The program highlighted that this accomplishment followed weeks of coordination with all involved parties.
