AMMAN — Former Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Mamdouh Al-Abadi stated that the ceasefire project proposed by the US to the Security Council is merely a form of procrastination and a tactic to buy time. He affirmed that the Russian and Chinese positions were dignified regarding the resolution project and the use of the veto against it.اضافة اعلان

Abadi added that the resolution project serves the occupation and does not respect resistance. If America truly has good intentions, it should refrain from using the veto against the new resolution project for the ten non-permanent member states, which includes a ceasefire in Gaza, Jo24 reported.

He criticized Secretary of State Blinken's tours, stating, "We have not seen any results from these tours; they are just distractions, evasions, and attempts to calm public opinion and absorb global anger to buy time for the occupation."

He concluded his statement by noting the difference between the American position and the Israeli position, likening it to the difference between Netanyahu and Gantz: they agree on the goal but differ in their approach.
