A traffic sergeant carried an injured child to hospital on his motorcycle in Amman on Thursday morning after finding him lying in the street with a head injury.

The Public Security Directorate said Sergeant Raja Al-Ayasrah was on duty in the Tariq area of the capital when he saw the child, who had fallen and struck his head. He picked the boy up and reached the nearest hospital within minutes.
Getting the child to hospital quickly was decisive in allowing him to receive first aid and treatment, the directorate said.
