Shooting at Kafrein Pumping Station damages water facilities

AMMAN — A shooting on Wednesday targeted the Kafrein Pumping Station in the southernJordan Valley, leading to malfunctions in the station’s facilities, according to the Ministry of Water and Irrigation. اضافة اعلان

The ministry stated that the attack ravaged the station’s water facilities and led to difficulties in pumping water to houses, adding that several areas have been affected by the gunfire. 

The ministry stressed that it will not tolerate such attacks in the future and will cooperate with the authorities to protect the water wells and resources in the station.
