US President Donald Trump said Iran wants to reach a deal “at any cost,” but stressed that he would not sign a “bad deal.”

Trump said the war with Iran could end immediately after the US midterm elections, and possibly even before then.اضافة اعلان

He also said gasoline prices would “fall quickly and return to where they were,” while insisting that the decision to go to war had been necessary.

“Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, and it will not have a nuclear weapon,” Trump said, adding that Iran “wants to make a deal at any cost,” something he said Tehran has “been saying all the time.”

At the same time, Trump reiterated that he would not reach a “bad deal” with Iran, saying any agreement acceptable to Washington would have to be “perfect.”

Trump had previously said Iran was eager to reach an agreement, while stressing that Tehran would not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon.

Regarding the Russia-Ukraine war, Trump called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to stop targeting diesel facilities in Russia, saying the attacks were contributing to fuel shortages.

“Zelenskyy has to stop hitting diesel, diesel fuel and diesel facilities,” Trump said, adding that there were “plenty of other targets” that could be attacked. He stressed, however, that strikes on diesel or fuel refineries were causing fuel shortages.

Trump said the reason for the diesel shortage was “not what’s happening in the Middle East, but what’s happening between Russia and Ukraine,” adding that he had previously discussed the issue with Zelenskyy.
