Security Measures: Plainclothes Officers to Monitor Violations During Tawjihi Results Announcement
The Public Security Directorate has begun implementing a strict security and traffic plan in conjunction with the announcement of the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) results. The aim is to provide a safe environment for citizens and prevent any violations that could threaten lives and property—such as celebratory gunfire, obstructive processions, or people exiting vehicles during celebrations.اضافة اعلان
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Directorate confirmed that it will intensify its field monitoring efforts, both human and automated, with coordinated operations between all units and directorates. This includes the deployment of patrols—both in uniform and plainclothes—as well as the activation of intelligence operations and swift response to reports and complaints. Authorities will pursue those who fire live bullets until they are apprehended and will take the necessary legal actions against them. The Directorate emphasized that this dangerous phenomenon poses a direct threat to community safety and public well-being.

Widespread Deployment of Traffic Police
The plan also includes a wide deployment of traffic police personnel across all governorates. Their role will be to regulate traffic flow and prevent serious violations such as reckless driving, vehicle stunts, passengers leaning out of windows, and the formation of random processions that obstruct traffic and endanger lives.

Penalties and Repeated Violations
The Directorate clarified that the penalties for such violations may include impounding the vehicle for up to one month, in addition to imposing a fine of up to 100 Jordanian Dinars. In cases where the violation is repeated within one year, the fine will be doubled.

Call for Responsible Celebrations
Citizens are urged to celebrate in a civil and safe manner that respects the law, protects lives and property, and honors the rights of others to use the roads and reach their destinations.
The Public Security Directorate wished all students success and called on the public to cooperate and work in partnership to protect society by rejecting inappropriate behaviors, supporting legal and security efforts, and reporting any negative incidents to the unified emergency number (911), or via WhatsApp at (0797911911), where all reports will be followed up with strict confidentiality.
