Rain showers and fog expected on Sunday

AMMAN — The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) stated in its daily weather forecast that the weather becomes relatively cool on Sunday evening, October 1, in the high mountainous areas and mild in other regions. Clouds continue to appear at various altitudes, with a possibility of light scattered rain showers in parts of the northern and limited areas of the central regions. The meteorological department warned of reduced horizontal visibility due to fog in the early morning hours over high mountainous areas and some plain areas and the risk of slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall.

These weather conditions will be caused by a moist and moderately warm air mass, causing a drop in temperatures, Khaberni News reported.
