Prime Minister Jafar Hassan conducted a field inspection tour on Tuesday, visiting several sites and projects in the governorates of Ajloun and Irbid.
Ajloun Governorate: Supporting Local Industry
The Prime Minister began his tour by visiting the Durrat Ammon Food Industries company in the Sakhra district. He directed that necessary support be provided to complete its expansion and move to a new location within the current year. This move aims to increase production and export lines and include the company in the food industry stimulus program, effectively doubling employment opportunities for local community members.
He also visited the Classic Fashion Apparel Industry in Sakhra. Hassan directed the provision of the support needed to establish another factory for the company this year, which is expected to provide 1,200 jobs. Additionally, he called for exploring broader health insurance coverage for production branch workers and expanding Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) programs by adding new specialized courses in the garment industry to enhance worker capabilities.
Irbid Governorate: Improving Public Services
In the Al-Mazar Al-Shamali district of Irbid, the Prime Minister visited the Irhaba Charitable Society, ordering a comprehensive rehabilitation of its facilities and equipping it with the necessary supplies to sustain and expand its services to the largest possible number of beneficiaries.
Regarding healthcare, Hassan directed the upgrading of the Irhaba Primary Health Center to a Comprehensive Health Center to enhance services and ensure 24-hour operation. He also inspected the Samad and Al-Za'tara Primary Health Center, instructing the swift acquisition of an alternative building and the maintenance of the current facility until the relocation is complete.
Finally, the Prime Minister inspected the Irhaba Comprehensive Secondary School for Girls. He ordered comprehensive maintenance for the school, the rehabilitation of its facilities, and the provision of modern equipment for its laboratories to better serve the students.
