Irbid, Minister of Social Development Wafaa Bani Mustafa conducted an unannounced visit to the Juvenile Rehabilitation and Care Center in Irbid and the Family Reconciliation House, as part of the ministry’s field visits to care and rehabilitation centers and affiliated units.

According to a statement issued on Monday, Bani Mustafa reviewed during her visit to the Juvenile Rehabilitation and Care Center the services provided to juvenile beneficiaries.
She also directed staff to provide all necessary resources to rehabilitate juveniles by equipping them with skills and training in vocational trades within the center, to empower them and help them integrate into the labor market after their release.
She instructed that maintenance procedures at the center be completed to ensure a suitable environment that enables beneficiaries to receive services in line with best practices, in a manner that serves their best interests.
The minister’s visit to the Family Reconciliation House included a tour of its facilities to review the status of services provided and programs implemented, particularly those related to psychological and social support, economic empowerment, and family counseling for beneficiaries.
She stressed the importance of providing the best possible care for beneficiaries and doubling efforts to serve them, contributing to the provision of a safe and dignified environment and facilitating their reintegration into their families and society.
