Police reopen Petra road after riots

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said police have reopened a road in Petra district following “limited riots” by a group of people, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.اضافة اعلان

The PSD secretary-general said that a group of people in the district staged limited riots following a security raid in the area, that was carried out in cooperation with the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority, to eliminate any violations in the region.

He said that a security force headed to the site and the road was reopened.
