Amman – The Secretary-General of the Jordan Valley Authority, Engineer Hisham Al-Hisa, stated on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, during an inspection tour as part of the regular field monitoring of water facilities, that all of Jordan’s water installations are operating efficiently and effectively.

During his inspection of Mujib, Zarqa Ma’in, and Al-Wala dams in Madaba Governorate, he emphasized that technical and operational teams are handling the management of all facilities and dams with the highest levels of professionalism and responsibility. This includes following approved technical procedures, regular monitoring, operation and maintenance, and safety measures to ensure all dams can accommodate incoming water flows according to established engineering standards.
Al-Hisa revealed that the recent storm contributed a promising 25 million cubic meters of water to the dams, mainly concentrated in King Talal and Al-Wala dams, praising the efforts of technical and engineering staff at all sites for maintaining the safety and operational efficiency of the water facilities.
