Public Security Directorate (PSD)
released a video containing 10 tips to avoid falling into electronic financial
fraud traps, Khaberni reported.

Here are the ten measures to help safeguard against such
scams:
1. Avoid disclosing personal or banking information to
unauthorized individuals.
2. Ignore advertisements for debt settlement or project
funding from non-legitimate sources.
3. Ensure the reliability and credibility of online shopping
websites and their information security.
4. Refrain from engaging with unknown individuals to settle
bills or service fees from your bank accounts.
5. Disregard and promptly delete text and email messages
from unknown sources.
6. Avoid accepting assistance requests from strangers when
using ATMs.
7. Use random and non-sequential PIN numbers for bank cards.
8. Update your personal data and information only through
official bank branches.
9. Immediately inform the bank in case of loss of your bank
or credit card.
10. Regularly change the PIN numbers for bank cards.
