Over 1.5m passengers cross King Hussein Bridge since January

AMMAN — Colonel Raafat Maaytah, the Director of the Bridge Security Department, has confirmed a significant increase in the number of travelers crossing the King Hussein Bridge this year. Since the beginning of the current year, approximately 1.5 million people have passed through the bridge, marking a substantial 38 percent increase compared to the previous year.اضافة اعلان

During a meeting held on Wednesday with the head and members of the Palestinian Parliamentary Committee, Colonel Maaytah highlighted the unique approach taken in managing the King Hussein Bridge this year, Khaberni reported.

One notable change is the implementation of a continuous 24-hour working system, aimed at reducing the burden on travelers and streamlining entry and exit procedures.
