The promenade, which stretches 750 meters, was designed according to international standards, including color schemes and specifications inspired by global examples. It features a maroon color and clearly marked ground signs to enhance the urban aesthetic and increase safety for users.

Al-Shawarbeh also inaugurated Al-Rahab Street, constructed at a total cost of 9 million Jordanian dinars, including land acquisitions. The project aims to improve infrastructure and service quality for citizens throughout the capital.

The street provides traffic and engineering solutions to alleviate congestion and connects Al-Hizam Street to Al-Mahatta area and the bus terminal via Al-Furusiyya Street. It also helps reduce traffic for commuters coming from Zarqa toward Al-Nasr and Al-Qweismeh, and links key districts such as Al-Mahatta, Al-Nasr, and Al-Muraqab with Al-Ghabawi Street and its main intersections, aligning with the city’s future expansion plans toward the east, serving vital projects like the land port, slaughterhouse, car city, and Al-Ghabawi landfill.

The project includes a 3-lane road in both directions, spanning 2,500 meters with a total width of 40 meters, separated by a 2-meter central median, in addition to service streets along both sides.

It also involved the installation of a sewage line along the entire project at a cost of 500,000 dinars, a box culvert for stormwater drainage spanning 2,500 meters, and a network of stormwater pipes of various diameters.

The Greater Amman Municipality completed sidewalks, constructed retaining walls, installed modern lighting on medians, planned the street for traffic safety and organization, and planted 3,000 trees.
