Online store for Jordanian inmates

AMMAN — An online store that would sell various products to inmates at Jordan’s correctional and rehabilitation centers will be launched soon, an official said, according to Al-Ghad News.اضافة اعلان

Brig. Gen. Ashraf Al-Omari, head of the Correction and Rehabilitation Centers Department, invited citizens to visit an inmates’ exhibition at the Jerash Festival for Arts and Culture, which opened on July 19 and will continue through August 4.

He said people visiting the exhibition will support the Public Security Directorate’s efforts to rehabilitate the inmates.

Omari said on Public Security Radio Wednesday that inmates in the rehabilitation centers are given raw material to produce sculptures, along with metal and wooden furniture.
