Ministry condemns Houthi attacks on civilian areas

AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has condemned the recent Houthi attacks on civilian areas in Saudi Arabia.اضافة اعلان

A Yemen Houthi drone reportedly crashed into a Saudi school on Sunday, according to the AFP. No injuries were reported and the Saudi Press Agency released pictures of the crash site. 

The ministry reiterated Jordan's position and denounced the terrorist acts, which continue targeting civilian areas, Al-Ghad reported.

The ministry also reaffirmed Jordan's support for Saudi Arabia in the face of all security threats to the kingdom, stressing that the security of the two kingdoms is one and indivisible, and that any threat to the security and stability of Saudi Arabia is a threat to the security and stability of the entire region.

The drone attack came as diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire between the warring parties has ramped up in recent weeks.
