AMMAN —
Ministry of Interior announced
Tuesday that 551 administrative detainees will be released, following an order
by
Minister Mazen Al-Faraya.

The decision was made after a thorough
review of each detainee's file to ensure that their release would not pose a
threat to public security and order, according to a local media outlet.
The main aim of the decision is to allow
the released detainees to reintegrate into society and spend the
upcoming Eid holiday with their families.
