He explained that the selection of pilgrims for this season was carried out in accordance with the approved criteria, noting that priority was given to those born on 31 March 1954 or earlier. He added that the ministry has completed all necessary organizational and technical preparations to ensure a smooth Hajj season and to provide the best possible services for Jordanian pilgrims.

The Minister called on those who have obtained Hajj visas to visit Awqaf directorates across the Kingdom to collect their Hajj permits starting next Sunday.

Al-Khalaileh stressed that Hajj visas will not be granted to individuals suffering from failure of any major organ, neurological or psychological diseases that impair cognition, old age accompanied by dementia, pregnancy in the last two months, active cancer, or infectious diseases.

He added that any pilgrim subject to health requirements must visit health centers to obtain a medical certificate, noting that no permit will be issued without submitting the required certificate.
