The office of Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan confirmed that no new ministers will enter the government.
Hassan’s office stated on Monday that the cabinet reshuffle will be limited, executing a constitutional requirement following the merger of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education.

The office added that the reshuffle will include appointing two deputy prime ministers.
It clarified that appointing two deputy prime ministers aims to strengthen and empower work on the economic and municipal portfolios by heading the Economic Modernization and Public Services committees. This will grant them greater capacity to follow up on key files and projects while accelerating the pace of cooperation with various sectors.
The office emphasized that the government's priority at this stage centers on moving forward with the implementation of major national and economic projects that represent a developmental necessity and cannot tolerate delays.
Furthermore, it noted that the Prime Minister is keen to solidify a distinct approach in managing the ministerial team—one built on accumulated experience, stability, and harmony among team members, granting ministers sufficient time to work and take responsibility for their assigned portfolios rather than resorting to continuous turnover.
