A video broadcast by the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV showed several ballistic missile and drone launches.

The Media Center of the Yemeni Armed Forces said in a statement on the X platform: "A new wave of terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia using ballistic missiles and drones targeting residential neighborhoods in the city of Mokha, with air defenses intercepting several drones."
Yemen has become the latest front in the context of the war in the Middle East, after the Houthis escalated their attacks, suspending a truce with the Yemeni government that had been in place since 2022.
The Houthis subsequently announced a naval blockade on Saudi ports and began targeting Saudi oil tankers.
The Houthis seized control of vast areas in northern Yemen—including the capital, Sanaa, and the city of Hodeidah—in late 2014. The following year, a military coalition intervened in support of government forces, which subsequently established their headquarters in the southern city of Aden.
