The Public Security Directorate (PSD) emphasized zero tolerance for firing gunshots in conjunction with the announcement of the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) results, stressing that strict legal measures will be taken against violators to arrest them and refer them to the competent judicial authorities.

The Directorate highlighted that festive firing poses a direct threat to citizens' lives and safety, calling for the avoidance of such behavior and expressing joy through safe and responsible means.
The PSD announced its readiness to handle the celebrations accompanying the release of the Tawjihi results on Monday by executing a comprehensive and strict security and traffic plan. The plan aims to provide a safe environment for citizens, preserve lives and property, and ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
The Directorate confirmed that the plan includes enhancing security deployment across all regions of the Kingdom, intensifying mobile and foot patrols in both civilian and military attire, and elevating the level of field and automated monitoring. This is being executed through full coordination among various specialized units and formations to respond immediately to any behaviors or violations that could jeopardize public safety.
On the traffic front, traffic departments are reinforcing personnel presence on main roads and areas expected to experience high traffic density to manage traffic flow and catch dangerous violations. Foremost among these are reckless driving, stunt driving, passengers hanging out of moving vehicles, and vehicle processions that obstruct traffic and endanger road users.
Brigadier General Firas Al-Rasheed, Director of the Operations and Control Directorate at the PSD, told Al-Mamlaka that the Directorate has finalized its preparations and established a comprehensive security and traffic plan to manage the post-Tawjihi celebrations.
Al-Rasheed added that duty assignments will begin prior to the announcement of results, featuring full security deployment across all locations where security agencies have historically observed uncivilized practices during celebrations.
He noted that the outcomes of managing celebrations during previous periods demonstrated a "stage of celebratory maturity," characterized by positive behaviors and conscious celebrations. He stressed that Jordanians have proven their ability to transform moments of joy into a civilized scene reflecting the true image of Jordanian society.
The PSD urged citizens to celebrate the occasion responsibly and mindfully, steering clear of negative practices that might ruin others' joy or jeopardize their safety. It emphasized that community cooperation is a essential partner in ensuring the success of security efforts and maintaining public safety and order.
