Environment Minister Confirms Air Quality Is Safe in the Iraq Area of Karak Governorate
Environment Minister Dr. Ayman Suleiman said that the Ministry of Environment has dealt seriously and attentively with the concerns raised during the oversight session of the House of Representatives held on December 1 of this year regarding the environmental situation in the Iraq area of Karak Governorate.اضافة اعلان

He explained that he conducted a field visit to the area for direct inspection of the environmental conditions, noting that specialized technical teams from the ministry had also carried out field visits and conducted precise measurements and tests using accredited laboratories and mobile equipment.

The minister stated that the results showed no detected emissions, and that air quality falls within approved environmental standards—whether at the site of the Bromine Company or in the surrounding areas, including those mentioned in the discussions, which are located approximately 12 kilometers away from the company.

Dr. Suleiman affirmed that the ministry will continue to follow up on all observations and strengthen environmental monitoring programs to safeguard the environment and public health, in accordance with current environmental regulations.
