The implementation of this project falls within the Ministry's plan to raise the efficiency of the road network, sustain infrastructure, and enhance traffic safety standards, thereby contributing to providing safe and sustainable routes for road users.

The scope of work includes milling the existing asphalt layer, addressing depressions and cracks, laying a new asphalt layer, repainting road markings, and restoring traffic safety elements, all in accordance with the highest approved technical specifications and standards.

The works will be carried out in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate under a temporary traffic management plan designed to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure the safety of road users and project personnel.

The plan involves executing the works in consecutive phases by cordoning off the work zone with plastic barriers and cones. One lane will remain open to traffic while work is underway on the other, after which traffic will be diverted to the completed lane to allow work to begin on the second lane. This approach minimizes disruptions and guarantees continuous, safe traffic flow.

The Ministry of Public Works and Housing urges all road users to adhere to traffic and warning signs at the work sites, comply with instructions from Ministry and Public Security Directorate personnel, and observe safe driving practices to protect citizens and workers, ensuring the project is completed within the specified timeline.
