King departs for Qatar

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday departed on a visit to Qatar, according to a Royal Court statement.اضافة اعلان

King Abdullah, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, will attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 on Sunday evening, at the invitation of Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

 The opening ceremony will be attended by a number of heads of state and government.

 HRH Prince Raad bin Zeid was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
