King Abdullah stressed the importance of reaching a ceasefire in Gaza and allowing sufficient humanitarian aid to flow into all areas of the Strip, in order to alleviate the suffering of its residents.

His Majesty highlighted Jordan’s ongoing coordination with brotherly and friendly nations to facilitate the entry of aid into Gaza, and expressed appreciation for Europe’s supportive stance toward ending the war and achieving peace based on the two-state solution.

The phone call also touched on Jordan–UK cooperation in intensifying the humanitarian response in Gaza, including delivering aid via land routes — described as the primary and most effective method — in addition to airdrops.

During the call, the King warned of the dangers of escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and emphasized the importance of maintaining Syria’s security, stability, and sovereignty.
