Kharabsheh stresses the need to improve the electrical network

AMMAN— Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al-Kharabsheh said that "work is underway" to determine the necessary needs to improve the electrical network, in cooperation with the concerned authorities, with the aim of increasing the capacity of renewable energy and its contribution to electricity generation, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

 

Kharabsheh visited 50 Hertz, one of the largest electric transport companies in Germany which operates the electricity transmission system in northern and eastern Germany, in addition it is a pioneering company in the field of integrating renewable energy into the electric grid, according to a statement by the Ministry of Energy on Friday.

 

In this regard, Kharabsheh lauded "the support provided by the Jordanian-German Partnership Program for the project", pointing out that "the experts from Elia Group will have a role in capacity-building and access to expertise to reach the target."

 

He stressed on “Jordan’s ability to complete the project, given the work to strengthen the electrical interconnection projects with neighboring countries, and the availability of infrastructure and the appropriate environment for that."

 

Kharabsheh was also briefed on the work of the control center and work procedures to ensure the sustainability of the electric current.
