According to Al-Mamlaka TV, during an oversight session in the Lower House, Najjar noted that the director of the National Carrier project is an employee of the Jordan Valley Authority and is leading the team.

Najjar further confirmed that the National Carrier project remains a critical focus for the government.

The two advisors from USAID are providing technical and financial expertise, with their salaries being paid by the US Agency, said Najjar.

The project aims to provide the country's population with drinking water by developing a desalination and water transport system. The project includes the construction of an intake plant, desalination and pumping station, and a 450km pipeline.
