Jordanian head of World Food Program office assassinated in Yemen

On Friday, the head of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, ordered the pursue and arrest of those involved in the crime of assassinating a senior UN employee in Taiz Governorate, reported Ad-Dustour.

Alimi added that he made a telephone call with the governor of Taiz Governorate, Nabil Shamsan, who reported that they have identified the perpetrators of the attack, and relayed the legal measures in place to pursue the attackers and grant them a trial.
