Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Ahmad Al-Huneiti Met U.S. Security Coordinator Lieutenant General Sean Salin and his accompanying delegation at his office at the General Command on Monday.

During the meeting, attended by a number of senior officers from the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army, Major General Al-Huneiti and the U.S. official discussed aspects of cooperation and coordination between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them across various military and defense fields.
They also addressed a number of issues and topics of mutual interest.
Members of the U.S. delegation commended the efforts made by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to promote security and stability in the region.
They emphasized the important role played by the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army in addressing challenges and enhancing regional security, while praising the level of cooperation and coordination between the two friendly countries.
