he King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) has launched the “Modern Technology Horizons” project, aimed at building the capabilities of Jordanian youth and professionals working in modern technology fields. The project seeks to equip participants with the skills needed to keep pace with rapid technological developments and enhance their readiness for the labor market. It is being implemented in partnership with the Consultation and Training Center at Princess Sumaya University for Technology.

Dr. Samer Al-Mafleh, Director General of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, said the project reflects the Fund’s commitment to investing in Jordanian talent and aligns with the outcomes of the Economic Modernization Vision, particularly in developing human capital, strengthening digital skills, and aligning education and training outcomes with labor market needs.
He added that the project will provide high-quality training programs that keep pace with rapid developments in modern technology, helping prepare qualified professionals with the skills required by today’s and tomorrow’s labor markets.
The project will develop participants’ skills in several areas of modern technology through specialized training programs combining theoretical and practical components. Participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and obtain accredited professional certifications, improving their readiness to enter technology sectors with growing demand.
The Fund invited those interested in joining the project to submit their applications online through its platform, complete the application form, and upload the required documents. The admission process includes passing a Technical Assessment related to the selected training course, followed by a personal interview.
