Jordan seeks Saudi Arabia’s approval to import sheep, goats

AMMAN — Jordan has requested Saudi Arabia's approval to Import sheep and goats from Jordan to the Saudi market, according to Hala News. اضافة اعلان

The proposal also includes facilitating the passage of livestock through Saudi territories to neighboring countries.

Minister of Agriculture of Jordan, Khaled Hneifat, has sent a letter to his Saudi counterpart, Abdulrahman Al-Fadli, who serves as the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia.

In the letter, Hneifat confirmed the commitment of the Jordanian veterinary authorities to implement all health requirements deemed appropriate by Saudi Arabia to ensure the safety of shipments and their freedom from animal diseases.
