Jordan records 10 COVID deaths Wednesday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 957 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, in addition to 10 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,501 and the caseload to 804,326. اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 442 cases, while Zarqa recorded 129 cases.

Irbid registered 101 cases, while Balqa recorded 45 cases.

Karak recorded 39, Jerash recorded 23 cases, and Tafileh recorded 24.

Madaba registered 17 cases, Aqaba 40, and Ajloun 32.

Mafraq registered 27 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 58 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 67 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,048 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.19 percent of the 30,596 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
