Jordan offers condolences to Indonesia over earthquake victims

AMMAN — Jordan extended its sincerest condolences and sympathies to the government and people of Indonesia over the victims of a 5.6-magnitude earthquake that hit Jakarta early on Monday, claiming the lives of dozens and injuring many others, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

In a statement issued on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed the Kingdom’s sympathy with Indonesia, offering condolences to the victims’ families and wishing the injured a swift recovery.

In a separate press statement on Monday, the ministry said that it is checking up on Jordanians in Jakarta through its operations center, which is coordinating with the Jordanian embassy in Jakarta.
