AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Huneiti, presided over a commemorative event organized by the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) on Monday. The occasion celebrated the centenary of the Jordan Army's name change to the Arab Army.اضافة اعلان

The celebration showcased the Jordanian Armed Forces' achievements and advancements over the century. Maj. Gen. Huneiti viewed a visual presentation highlighting the Arab Army's dedication to the country and Arab identity, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.



The event also featured a JODDB product exhibition and a military parade by the Silent Sentinels, a division within the Royal Guards. The parade included weapon demonstrations and infantry movements, accompanied by performances from Armed Forces musicians.

The event concluded with Army Chief Maj. Gen. Huneiti honoring winners of JODDB's Creative Excellence Initiative. The initiative involved teams engaged in robotics, artificial intelligence, and drone technology.
