AMMAN – The
Jordan Medical Association has
decided to establish a field hospital in Gaza, in cooperation with other health
unions and with full financial support from the association, according to Al-Ghad newspaper.

They are in contact with the
Egyptian Red Crescent and the Egyptian Medical Syndicate to set up the field hospital in
Rafah, where wounded patients from Gaza can be received.
They are also in contact with other
international organizations to secure a location for the hospital inside Gaza
or on the border with Egypt, though there have been no responses yet.
The
Jordan Medical Association will propose the
establishment of the field hospital to the Jordanian Armed Forces, which could
be set up alongside the Jordanian field hospital already operating in the Gaza
Strip or to provide volunteers to that facility from the association.
