Additionally, GAM plans to invite tenders for smart on-street parking this coming June. These projects are integrated into the "Amman Smart City Center" tender, reflecting ongoing efforts toward digital transformation and advanced traffic management.

Traffic Management & Digital Surveillance
GAM is set to significantly expand its network of active traffic management and smart violation cameras:

Current: 300 cameras.

Mid-2026 Goal: 2,500 cameras.

Mid-2027 Goal: 3,100 cameras.

Long-term Vision: An integrated system of 5,900 cameras managed via a unified digital platform by 2027.

2025 Performance Indicators: Public Works
The municipality released its annual performance data for 2025, highlighting major infrastructure milestones:

Road Network: Total paved roads in Amman reached 6,522 km, with 1.3 million m² of new roads constructed in 2025 alone.

Paving & Maintenance: A total of 3.8 million m² of paving work was completed.

Drainage & Pedestrians: 15,000 meters of new rainwater drainage lines, 60,000 m² of sidewalks/curbs, and the construction/maintenance of 150 public stairways.

Emergency Response: Response time improved to 25 minutes, a 37.5% decrease compared to 2024.

Health, Agriculture & Green Spaces
Health Inspections: 92,000 tours conducted, with 28,000 cases of status rectification for health and professional warnings—a 109% increase in compliance compared to 2024.

Central Market: Managed 1.4 million tons of horticultural products in 2025 (+8% from 2024). Export growth for these products surged by 35%, aided by a 75% fee exemption for Jordanian farmers.

Environment: Green spaces now cover 2.4% of Amman (totaling 19,000 dunams).

Per Capita Green Space: 4.3 m² (approx. 48% of the WHO minimum standard of 9 m²).

Growth: 1,500 dunams were planted in 2025, marking an 8.7% increase in green cover compared to 2024.
