AMMAN — The
Jordanian embassy in Cairo
said that Egyptian security authorities notified it that the suspects in
connection with the murder of a Jordanian citizen in Cairo had been arrested, a
local news outlet reported.

The embassy continues to coordinate with Egyptian
security authorities to find out the merits and developments in the case.
The embassy also coordinates continuously with the
Operations Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate. It is also
in direct contact with the citizen’s family to arrange the procedures for
transferring his body after the completion of preliminary investigations
carried out by the Egyptian security authorities.
The Jordanian Embassy, upon becoming aware of the
incident inside an apartment in Cairo on Sunday, coordinated with security and
health authorities in Egypt to follow up on all the details and necessary
procedures.
