Eastern Military Region Foils Attempt to Smuggle Large Quantity of Narcotics

The Eastern Military Region thwarted an attempt early Monday morning, along its front and within its area of responsibility, to smuggle a large quantity of narcotic substances using balloons guided by advanced electronic devices.اضافة اعلان

The attempt was detected by Border Guard units, which engaged with the operation, shot down the balloons and their cargo inside Jordanian territory, in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The seized materials were handed over to the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal measures.
