The MoU was signed by the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Eng. Sami Samirat, and the Chairman of Jordan Post Company, Sami Daoud, in the presence of Secretary-General of the Ministry, Samira Al-Zoubi, and the Director General of Jordan Post Company, Hanadi Al-Tayyeb.

Under the agreement, Jordan Post will provide product delivery services inside and outside Jordan, in addition to express delivery services, offering three flexible payment methods: the Jordan Post payment card, domestic money transfer services, and cash payment at post office branches.

The MoU also includes provisions for cooperation in promotion and marketing, including allocating display spaces for products in selected post offices, promotion via Jordan Post’s mobile application and social media platforms, and organizing exhibitions and sales events across various governorates.

The agreement also covers the operation of Jordan Post’s delivery app and the creation of job opportunities for youth, with priority given to the children of home-based business owners.

For its part, the Ministry will promote the services and preferential prices provided by Jordan Post through the “Khayrat Al-Dar” platform as part of its efforts to broaden the benefits of these services to small projects.

This agreement strengthens public sector partnerships and national institutions, with a focus on creating new economic opportunities across all governorates of the Kingdom—especially for youth and women.

The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship emphasized that this step represents an effective model of integration between the public sector and national institutions.

It contributes to empowering small projects and opening new growth horizons within a secure and encouraging digital environment, while also allowing entrepreneurs and startups to benefit from a wide network of partners and support services offered by Jordan Post.

For his part, the Chairman of Jordan Post Company expressed pride in this collaboration, affirming the company’s commitment to expanding and adapting its services in line with digital transformation requirements by providing advanced delivery solutions that support entrepreneurship and emerging businesses, and promote economic and social development across the Kingdom.
