The Head of the Royal Hashemite Court, Yousef Hassan Al-Eisawi, and Chair of the Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of His Majesty the King’s Initiatives, handed over the keys and usufruct certificates to the beneficiary families. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Public Works and Housing Eng. Maher Abu Al-Samen, Minister of Social Development Wafaa Bani Mustafa, Governor of the Capital Yasser Al-Adwan, Director-General of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Jumana Al-Atiyat, and Jordan Office Director of the International Charity Organization – UAE, Raed Sabri Abu Alfa.

During the handover, Al-Eisawi conveyed His Majesty the King’s greetings to the beneficiary families, affirming that the initiative is part of the Hashemite leadership’s efforts to improve Jordanians’ living conditions, reflecting the King’s dedication to supporting citizens in need and providing suitable housing that ensures stability and human dignity.

He noted that the “Homes for Needy Families” initiative aims to provide decent housing for families without homes, in accordance with standards set by the Ministry of Social Development.

Al-Eisawi added that the initiative was launched under royal directives to meet the needs of the most vulnerable families, giving priority to widows, orphans, and families with members who have disabilities.

He also stated that the royal initiative continues to support eligible families. Today’s delivery provides housing for ten families, bringing the total number of homes delivered so far to approximately 3,000 units, in addition to over 1,000 units currently being implemented in stages across the Kingdom, contributing to ensuring a stable and dignified life for these families.

The “Homes for Needy Families” initiative was launched in 2005 by directives of His Majesty the King during his field visits and community meetings, serving as a practical realization of His Majesty’s vision to provide a dignified and stable life for the most vulnerable families across the Kingdom.
