The Jordan Tourism Board said that the resumption of low-cost airline flights starting July 1 is expected to boost tourist arrivals, particularly from European markets.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the board said it has intensified its presence, in cooperation with relevant authorities, at Jordan’s border crossings and main entry points to promote the country's tourism offerings and raise awareness of the “Ahlan Jordan” platform. The initiative also aims to provide visitors with the necessary information and assistance to enhance their travel experience.
The board noted that the tourism sector has begun to show signs of gradual recovery, supported by a package of government measures and promotional programs implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and tourism-sector partners.
These efforts are intended to mitigate the impact of regional challenges on tourism and travel activity and to support the continued recovery of Jordan’s tourism industry.
