Daylight savings now starts from February not March

AMMAN – Daylight savings time in the Kingdom will now start in February instead of March, the Cabinet decided Sunday, amending its previous decision in this regard, according to Al Ghad News.اضافة اعلان

Daylight savings time will start from midnight on the last Thursday of February of each year, instead of the last Thursday of March. Winter time will remain unchanged and will start from the last Friday of October of each year.

A statement issued by Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh, said that the clock will be put back by one hour, starting from 1am on the last Friday of October.

The clock will be pushed forward by one hour from midnight on the last Thursday of February every year signaling the start of daylight saving time in the Kingdom.
