Nayef Hamidi Al-Fayez, the head of the authority’s council of commissioners, emphasized the importance of cleaning the seabed to preserve the marine environment in Aqaba.

The authority is keen on protecting the marine environment. Their partners from security agencies are intensifying their inspection campaigns on the city’s beaches to ensure everyone’s cooperation in preserving Aqaba’s beaches and marine environment.

Al-Fayez urged beachgoers to commit to keeping the beaches clean of waste and to protect swimmers from any harm that may result from throwing metal cans.
