In a press statement, the ministry confirmed that the registration period will not be extended after this date. Registration procedures will be as follows:
Regular students will receive their registration forms through their schools during the registration period.
Private study students under the new plan must obtain their registration forms by visiting the Directorate of Education in their area during the registration period.
Students residing outside Jordan can register through Jordanian embassies or cultural advisors in their countries of residence.
For students following the old study plans (Class of 2007 and earlier) who have not completed the requirements for passing or wish to improve their grades, registration will be conducted electronically through the website (exams.moe.gov.jo), without the need to visit education directorates.
The fees must be paid during the announced registration period through the “eFAWATEERcom” system, either via the application or authorized agents. However, non-Jordanian applicants must visit the Examinations Department at the relevant Directorate of Education after completing registration and payment, bringing two recent personal photographs (4×6 cm) matching the identification document.
The ministry clarified that regular students and new private-study applicants must submit the following documents with their registration forms:
A copy of the Jordanian national ID card or a copy of the passport for Jordanians (no certification required)
A certified copy of the passport for non-Jordanian applicants
A certified copy of the identification card for children of Jordanian mothers
A copy of the security card for Syrian applicants who do not hold a passport
Two recent personal photos (4×6 cm) matching the identification document
New private-study students must also bring their original academic certificates or certified copies, which qualify them to sit for the exam, or the latest transcript of the General Secondary Education Examination.
