Speaker of the House of Representatives Mazen Al-Qadi said that the anniversary of the Day of Loyalty and Allegiance represents a national milestone that awakens in Jordanians’ collective conscience the meanings of sincerity and determination, and renews the pledge to continue working and giving for the advancement of Jordan and the safeguarding of its achievements, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II.

Al-Qadi affirmed that on this occasion Jordanians recall the journey of the late King Hussein bin Talal—may he rest in peace—the architect of Jordan’s renaissance, and the foundations he laid for a strong state. Today, the nation continues its path with confidence and capability under the reign of His Majesty King Abdullah II, who has led comprehensive paths of renaissance and modernization, with Jordanians standing firmly behind his leadership, stronger and more committed to serving citizens.
He added that the royal directives and initiatives since His Majesty assumed his constitutional powers have focused on serving citizens and promoting comprehensive development through balanced tracks of political, economic, and administrative modernization, thereby enhancing the state’s ability to confront challenges.
Al-Qadi concluded by saying that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, has remained steadfast in its national stances, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, bearing the responsibility of the Hashemite Custodianship over the holy sites in Jerusalem, defending the people of Gaza, and firmly rejecting any attempts at displacement.
